Brooke and Ryuuma fight and exchange lots of dialogue. Ryuuma makes a "zombie joke" about how his sword skills did not get rusty, while his body is rotting. They use mostly identical skills, but Ryuuma has a stronger body and wins once again with a new skill. Ryuuma also explains he won't kill Brooke so he'll keep his shadow. Brooke stands up again while Ryuuma is laughing and tries to throw some salt, but Ryuuma stops it. Usopp and Co. talk about Ryuuma having Brooke's personality and the penguin having Sanji's, and how it's gonna be trouble if Luffy's shadow is inside Oz. Moria puts Luffy's shadow in Oz and Oz makes a big roar. Loud enough that Franky and Robin hear it and says they need to hurry (not clear where they are without images). Oz's first phrase is "I will be Pirate King". Moria replies that he'll be his King, the Pirate King. Oz picks on his nose. Moria starts talking about how he'll become pirate king, but Oz ignores it and complains that it's really cold. Suddenly he blows the foothold where Moria and co. are. Oz wonders why he can's stretch. Moria explains that his devil fruit abilities cannot be transfered, but that he's strong enough. Then Oz asks for food. Hogback is surprised that this guy is even more audacious than Cindry. Cindry says a "Salt Onigiri" is ready. Hogback says she can't do it, because of the effects of salt on zombies. Then Oz sleeps. Usopp picks some salt, but then Perona hits Bearsy, and some salt slips off Usopp's hand, accidentaly purifying Bearsy. Chopper says they'll be found. Back to Ryuuma and Brooke, they exchange more lines, until Brooke says zombies have another weakness, which is the fear of death. Brooke explains that even though zombies borrow the shadow's personality, they keep the zombies' memories, including the fear of death that only already dead understands. Brooke goes on to say Ryuuma's just a puppet of Moria, afraid to die and lose his fame. Ryuuma takes his sword and asks Brooke to stop saying such words, because he doesn't want to kill him. Brooke claims he won't lose to a sword(sman) submitted to the fear of death.
